I didn't know about it until the day I made the entry, so don't feel bad about not knowing.
I did read the first issue, and I did like it. Though, it's more playing current MU or 616 canon -- Senator Kelly is now an emissary for Doom, who rules many dimensions, as per Secret Wars 2015 -- than a straightforward time skip sequel, which is what I was hoping. And playing on more recent X-Men canon, as Cassandra Nova shows up early in the series. (She's not a favorite of mine, though, I won't hold the series against that.)
Been hyper-busy, so I haven't read the most recent issues, and a cover features major Gambit/Rogue, alas. But that's not unexpected, either, as the series is only following the 1992 series' lead. I'll try to track down everything and give you a better assessment in the next few weeks.
But the art I love and man, I dig Jean's 92 X-Men uniform. It's like perfection to me.
Hope some of this helps. Like I said, it's the closest we'll get to Comic Scott/Rogue interaction as Marvel is hellbent on keep those two separate from each other in mainstream canon. Sighs.
