Introduction entry

I decided to finally de-lurk and introduce myself, even though, I've commented off/on, lately. Hello, my name is John, who is a X-Men Evo Scott/Rogue fan. I've originally watched the show in 2002, based on my then passion of fictional goth girl characters. (It was a phase that I've since grew out of.) X-Men Evo's Rogue fit perfectly for me, and I developed my interest of the show, soon afterwards.

The Scott/Rogue aspect came later, as the pairing actually made sense and appealed to my love of similar-yet-complimenting themed couples. I go with the Evo model, as I am drawn to the Scott/Rogue chemistry and characterizations. While I am familiar with the movie and comic canon, it's a tad convoluted for my tastes. Any other motivation comes from the Evo writers' squandering such potential for a variety of reasons (the rush to Scott/Jean canon, the crammed and awkward pacing toward the end of the series).

I do have plans to write X-Men Evo Scott/Rogue fiction, eventually. I'm known as Charaxes on FF.net and have been writing fanfic for 5 years (I'm known in the animated Teen Titans and Law & Order fandoms). Some of you may have seen me review the occasional X-Men Evo fic over the years, so I'm not a complete stranger.

That's all I can say, for the moment. I intend to post many entries, but I thought it best to introduce myself, first.
