I have to wonder about something...

Why is it that Marvel won't give this couple a chance? I have to scratch my head, because when you look at the amazing chemistry that Scott and Rogue had in X-Men Evolution, it just opens up a huge world of possiblities. Scott and Rogue have the most potential in my opinion, I mean, when you look at their struggles, they're the same. When you look at them, you can see something happen between them.
I think that Scott and Rogue could be soulmate material, they just need their chance.
I mean, this couple is probably the rarest X-Men couple I know, so it's really hard to find anything for them, so I'm rather pleased that at the end of X-Men Evolution where Rogue lands next to Scott was something deliberate. Scott and Rogue, when they are with each other, they feel freedom to be themselves.
They are sensitive souls, and sensitive souls need to be taken care of. Scott and Rogue could very well heal each other, and protect each other from further harm.
I would buy a Scogue book series in a hearbeat if Marvel actually did this!

Of course, as you said, hard to do when they aren't forced into a love interest. Then again, in the past decade, that has been breaking down somewhat, hasn't it?
