You've probably read some spoilers or some articles about the film. You might have seen the released images? Or the Empire covers.
I want to hear your opinions! Are you excited? Are you angry? Sad? Disappointed? Happy? Relieved? What?
How do you feel about the character line-up? the plot changes? etcetera.
I know Cyclops is no where in this film (his brother Havok is) and Rogue may or may not be seen in the released film (hopefully we'll be able to see the deleted scenes), but since the film could have potential ties in adding more history to their characters and inspire people to start writing again - I mean come on I can already see fix-it fics for the movie already! We just need some Scott/Rogue versions!

- They should have found a way to make Kitty the one to go back in time. (But then anyone who knows me how angry I was/am about all the X-Men movies focusing solely on Wolverine).
- Main Cast of males: Magneto, Charles, Prof X, Erik, Beast, Bishop, Iceman, Warpath, Sunspot, Colossus, Quicksilver, Bolivar Trask, Havok, Toad (12) against only FOUR females (Kitty, Mystique, Blink, and Storm). And I'm going to assume Mystique will be the only one to be the "main female". Main male cast is more than likely just Charles & Erik & Logan with Trask and maybe Beast.
(Now don't get me wrong I *LOVE* The Avengers despite only having one super heroine -Black Widow and two other "main"ish characters Pepper and Maria - but I hated the lack of females... I wanted Wanda, Peggy Carter, Jane Foster, Betty Ross, and Darcy Lewis. And I really loved/enjoyed XMFC so don't get me wrong! It's hard to explain I guess...)
- I was super excited when the sequel was announced, I was super excited about the trailer being released - I was excited to see Blink in the trailer... but that excitement is leaving me truthfully. I was disappointed that once again Wolverine takes over the show. I was devastated when it was announced the Rogue scenes were "cut" out of the film.
I just kind of have to agree with the person that said "This movie sounds like a mess and I AM LOVING IT. If it flops at the box office, Fox may somehow sell rights back to Marvel. If it proves to be successful, Marvel might reconsider releasing a shiny new X-men animation that is true to the spirit of TAS & EVO masterpieces. It's a win-win for me." Although I *want* a live-action movie series but this time less focus on Wolverine - give the OTHER characters a chance. Although yes I want another animated series too.
