Apparently, the 10th anniversary of X-Men: Evolution is coming around the corner (11/4/2000). The entry is to rouse and/or refresh anyone having their own plans for the 10th anniversary, be it with Scott/Rogue or other concepts. Of course, we can't neglect the 2000 movie, which inspired the series, either. (If anyone is interested, the movie was released in the US on 7/14/2000).
To that end, I hope to attempt my first Scott/Rogue ficlet, or at least do something to promote this fine, still-under appreciated series. Here's to hoping that others will have the same idea.
Has it been 10 years, already? Time flies.

Date: 2010-06-09 02:37 pm (UTC)Rogue and Scott's relationship was the highlight for me. I think...I think that a fanfiction from me is in order. I've never actually wrote a story based on these two all the way through because the timeline of Evolution episodes always screwed me up.
It saddens me to think that our little community is so much smaller than others, but we're open to exploring the X-Men universe and their characters. I just hope that someday, some writer will see that Scott and Rogue make sense.

If there is anything I've learned from LJ, it's everything is a mile wide and an inch deep. Give it time, as this place is more active than the usual non-canon shipper community. And who knows, as we never thought Scott/Emma Frost would become canon in the comics.
